Class Descriptions

Ashtanga (All Levels)

Ashtanga is a traditional Indian practice that follows the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, which is a sequence of energetic poses that focus on the breath and build strength, flexibility and focus in the body. There is an emphasis on alignment using props and modifications to make the practice safe and accessible for all levels.

Beginner Yoga (All Levels)

Welcome to Beginner Yoga, the perfect class for anyone looking to get back into the practice of yoga. Our classes are designed with beginners in mind, so no prior experience is required to join! We'll move slowly and with intention, providing plenty of cues so you can get comfortable with basic Hatha yoga poses. Our experienced instructor will also provide props to support your practice and help you progress further. Take a deep breath and find peace and inner balance as we take this journey together.

Candle Light Hatha Yoga (All Levels)

Hatha yoga emphasizes the practice of physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation as a way to achieve balance between body and mind. Retreat and unwind with this 60-minute, gentle Hatha flow. With a beautiful, calming vibe created by ambient candle light. This class focuses on functional movement practices. While the warm glow of the candle light promotes relaxation and prepares the body for rest. Use of yoga props and/or supports is encouraged. Suitable for all levels.

Restorative Yoga (All levels)

Restorative invites a renewed sense of spaciousness in the body with longer held, passive postures meant to relax the body, developing mindful awareness. We will use props to eliminate any stretch or tension in the muscles, allowing the body to reach a deep state of relaxation. A valuable and necessary compliment to stronger forms of yoga, and athletics; a powerful antidote to our stressful, busy lifestyles. Our restorative poses will be followed by a short session of meditation. Suitable for all levels. 

Vinyasa/Hatha Yoga - (All levels)

This class is an all levels class meant to gently get the body and breath moving. We will work on safe alignment, body awareness, stretching and strengthening all while having fun!

Vinyasa Flow (All Levels)

Vinyasa yoga focuses on moving your body in sequence with the breath. After warming up the body focusing on the range of movement of the joints, flow through a series of standing postures before making your way back down to your mat and enjoying a sweet Savasana. Expect to get a bit sweaty at times, depending on the version of vinyasa class and build strength and flexibility flowing in and out of standing, balancing, and seated postures.

Yin Yoga (All levels)

Yin Yoga invites a renewed sense of spaciousness in the body and mind with longer held passive postures that work to stimulate the energy-rich connective tissue of the body while developing mindful awareness. Yin is a valuable and necessary compliment to stronger forms of yoga, fitness and sports as well as being a powerful antidote to stressful, busy lifestyles. Suitable for all levels.
